Large format retail Fit-outs
Scaliti Built specialises in large format retail fitouts, delivering high quality construction and trade works for some of Australia's most recognised retail brands. From warehouse style showrooms to complex commercial tenancies, the team manages every aspect of the build — painting, carpentry, structural works, signage coordination, and everything in between.
Large format retail comes with its own demands. Tight trading timelines, centre management requirements, live retail environments, and large open spaces that need to be finished to a high standard without disrupting surrounding tenants. That's the environment Scaliti Built operates in every day.
Working directly with retailers, project managers, and store development teams, every job is delivered on programme, on budget, and to the standard the brand expects. Whether it's a new store rollout, a refurbishment, or a full tenancy fitout from shell condition the capability is there to get it done.

Recent Project Dandenong South Kickass Products
A full retail fitout for Kickass Products at their Dandenong South store, delivered as part of the brand's ongoing national rollout. The scope covered the complete fitout of a large format tenancy including painting, carpentry, electrical and IT, alarm and CCTV installation, and external signage. The job involved coordinating across multiple trades and working directly with both the Kickass store development team and the Centuria property management group as landlord representatives. A landlord contribution was negotiated and approved as part of the project, reflecting the scale of base building works involved. Inspections and certification were managed through to completion. Another strong example of the end to end retail fitout capability the team brings to every Kickass site.

Doncaster - Hairhouse
A commercial fit-out for Hairhouse at their Doncaster location, covering a new office fit-out as well as a purpose-built basement carpark storage facility. The scope involved coordinating across multiple trades including carpentry and fire services, with the basement storage component requiring a building permit and subsequent variation permit to accommodate an updated sprinkler design. The fire sprinkler works were a key part of the build, requiring careful sequencing to allow the storage area to be cleared, drained down, and inspected before the Occupancy Certificate could be issued. Working within an active retail environment inside a Scentre Group centre meant tight scheduling, clear communication with the building surveyor, and on-site coordination at short notice. A solid example of the kind of commercial fitout work that requires as much project management as it does hands-on trade skill.
